Healing Nettle Infusion

The first thing I suggest to clients and friends when they are feeling exhausted is to start drinking nourishing herbal infusions. Herbal Infusions are not tea. They are a potent brew of a LOT of plant material brewed over a LONG period of time (tea is a minuscule amount of herb brewed over a short period of time).

Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) a common weed throughout much of the world, and arguably the world’s most nutritious plant.

A quart of nettle infusion contains more than 1000 milligrams of calcium, 15000 IU of vitamin A, 760 milligrams of vitamin K, 10% protein, and lavish amounts of most B vitamins.

Benefits of Nettle:

  • Builds strong immunity

  • Restores adrenals

  • Replenishes energy

  • Moderates blood sugar swings

  • Charges every cell with antioxidants
